DeRosa has been playing music since he was twenty-three years old with heavy metal, hard rock, blues, and classic rock bands, but he’s always known he wanted to play the kind of country music he heard growing up. 

Before establishing his solo career, DeRosa was the lead guitar player for a multi-gold and platinum Nashville recording artist, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the music industry. 

Galaxy Class Records had reached out to DeRosa after he was previously signed with SSM Nashville, however his career really took off when a group of college students recorded him playing a cover of John Denver’s Country Roads at an Ice Cream Parlor. DeRosa posted the video on his Instagram and his now manager, Micheal Zdanowicz, contacted him.
